Week 7

The last week of Usrah 2

From the Word Search given last week, the instructor asked each group to choose 4 words from the riddle to talk about. Each group has to talk about the words chosen, like a mini presentation. After the presentation, we need to say a tagline for Eid Adha, since the time for Eid Adha was approaching.

Each group was given 'ratings' too after we have completed the 'mission'.

Through sacrifice, we grow. Through faith, we unite. Happy Eid al-Adha!

(1) The instructor shared this during the Eid Adha Holiday:

The Prophet SAW said:

"There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah)."

And which fasting on the day of arafah (9th dzulhijjah) can expiate sins from the previous and upcoming year✨

From Abu Qatadah RA, the Prophet PBUH was asked regarding fasting on the day of Arafah and the Prophet PBUH replied:

“It expiates the sins of the preceding year and the coming year” Sahih Muslim (1977)

Lets increase our worship, fasting, prayer, and other good deeds. May Allah helps us!🌸🌷✨

(2) Our Naqibah also shared this few days ago:

Week 1

On the first week of Usrah , the Naqibah introduced the course outline for the Usrah , including what we have to do to pass the course.  It was the first meeting, so the Usrah was just about the course itself, nothing much, but at least it is a good start!  It was during the Ramadhan period, and right before Eid Holiday. Most of us were already home, so the Usrah was held online.  The best thing about this Usrah was that the instructor included Isha' prayer time for about 10-15 minutes. It was very reasonable as we have to be in the Usrah for 2 hours from 8 to 10pm. Imagine being home late, and super tired, straight to the bed... we might have missed the prayer! May Allah bless our Naqibah always for being so thoughtful.  The Naqibah also stated that adding the prayer time is aligned with the course as we would focus on the ibadah , and yup, for sure, the most important ibadah would be prayers, as it is also the first thing to be asked in the hereafter....

Week 3

Our presentation! The presentation is done by sharing the points of the topic in the Mahjong paper. Each member needs to speak at least a point from the topic. Front Page Back Page I talked about Salah Nawafil and Salah During Ilness . These are some added information for the topic: Minimum Length to perform Jamak and Qasar prayers Another explanation regarding Jamak and Qasar prayers From the mufti:  https://muftiwp.gov.my/en/artikel/irsyad-fatwa/irsyad-fatwa-umum-cat/6059-irsyad-hukum-siri-ke-875-susunan-tertib-solat-ketika-solat-jamak Regarding the 'tertib' to perform the Jamak or Qasar prayers. Reminder: You can't do Jamak and Qasar prayers if you are travelling for bad purposes! For instance, going to K-Pop concerts. Week 6

Two presentations in a day! For week 6, the Naqibah asked the two remaining groups to present on the same day, that is to finish all the presentations that needed to be done. The first presentations: The virtues found in Zakah/Sadaqah The points shared during the presentation The instructor also shared another information or new knowledge ('ilm) for the topic: The second presentation: The virtues found in Hajj/'Umrah The points shared during the presentation On that week, the instructor shared a video from Facebook. The topic was: 6 Ways Allah Guarantees the Arrival of Sustenance in the Quran The link:  https://www.facebook.com/reel/636486682501265/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v For the last upcoming week, the instructor gave us a task to complete.
